We also keep a manual copy of email sign ups to our newsletter list in our premises at Cottingley Furnishers, Cottingley Bar, Bradford Road, Bingley, BD16 1PA. The reason for this is 2 fold. Firstly, we have an actual sign up sheet that customers can fill in with pen in store. This is our record that you chose to sign up. We date them. Secondly, with our sign ups we offer a discount code for use on a future purchase. We keep this manual record so that we can track if a discount code has been used already by a particular customer, so we are not giving the same customer discount repeatedly. We also want to record how effective this promotion is for us. Your details are for our use only. We never pass those on to third parties. The details are stored in a locked cupboard inside a locked office and they are cross-shredded when no longer needed. 

You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold on you at any time. You can contact us via the address at the bottom of this page. You also have the right  to have your data corrected or erased. Erasing your data may be limited by the following factors:
