5 Country Inspired Instagrams We're Addicted To
If we’re not shopping for new pieces for the store or serving our amazing customers, you’ll often find us scrolling through Instagram looking for interior design inspiration. We love taking a look behind the doors of other people’s houses, especially when we’re looking for country-inspired décor ideas.
With that said, today we wanted to share five Instagram accounts that make us stop in our tracks to double tap when we’re enjoying a good old snoop. Starting with…
Oak Apple Décor
Based in our very own Yorkshire, Marisa and Chris are the couple behind this stunning barn renovation. With a mix of country styling and modern rustic industrial, this space is one of our favourite homes to take a virtual tour around. From the statement wallpaper and crittall glass shower panel in the bathroom, to the stunning choice in lighting throughout the barn, this design duo should be incredible proud of this transformation. Follow Oak Apple Décor here.
Petal and Primrose
Established by interiors and lifestyle blogger (and bride-to-be!), Maria’s country cottage is every bit as charming as you’d imagine it to be. With its traditional thatched roof and sage green front door, it has bundles of curb appeal. This home reminds us so much of the quaint cottage featured in the Christmas film, The Holiday. Now if only Jude Law was inside! You can follow Petal & Primrose here.
Country Homes Magazine
Highlighting the best in country interiors, Country Homes Magazine is a must-visit if you’re a fan of both traditional and modern rustic style. Not only is the colour palette of this feed so aesthetically pleasing, we’ve also discovered even more accounts from their regular shout-outs. And any account that features a dog as gorgeous as this one deserves a follow. Be sure to check out Country Homes Magazine here.
Our Forever Farmhouse
Erica – mum of three boys and hairstylist-turned-DIYer – is the face behind Our Forever Home. This 1958 ranch home located in rural Iowa is one of the reasons we love fresh white interiors so much. The mix of exposed wooden floors, open shelving, plants and super tactile soft furnishings create the perfect home for her family to grow up in. You can follow Our Forever Farmhouse by clicking here.
Finally, we have Acorn Cottage, the stunning abode which houses content creator and interiors enthusiast Emily. Located in Suffolk, it’s clear to see from Emily’s talents in decorating and styling why she’s amassed over 30,000 followers on Instagram. Be sure to check out here outdoor seating area, which looks like the perfect place to relax once the warmer days arrive. And remember to follow Acorn Cottage here.
