CAN I BUY YOUR FURNITURE ONLINE?
Not at the moment. You can email, message or call us and order or buy that way, but while we sell accessories and small items online, we are unable to sell furniture direct from the website. We sell our furniture from the shop floor as well as taking orders, and we do not hold much surplus stock making online purchasing difficult. We also like people to see what they are buying from us in the flesh! So even if you place an order we will encourage you to come and look at it before delivery.
WHAT DO YOU SELL ONLINE?
As well as viewing our extensive range of oak, pine & painted bedroom, living and dining room furniture, we also have smaller accessories, soft furnishing and gift ideas available to purchase.
These include photo frames, candles, diffusers, cushions, vases, crockery, decorative items and so much more.

CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER DETAILS SUCH AS SHIPPING ADDRESS ONCE MY ORDER HAS BEEN PLACED?
As we are a small family-run business we are unable to change delivery addresses/contact numbers etc after the order has gone through. Please make sure this is correct at the time of payment. Email us if you experience any issues.
HOW DO I USE MY PROMO CODE?
Just enter your promotional code at the checkout and the specified discount will apply. The discount code given can only be used once.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU USE?
We accept all major debit and credit cards as well as Paypal for a quick and easy purchase.
WHEN WILL MY PAYMENT BE DEBITED?
Payments are taken as soon as the order is confirmed.
DO YOU HAVE ALL THE PRODUCTS SHOWN IN STOCK?
In short: no! We can't stock everything all the time. The shop is big, but not that big! We try to keep pieces from each furniture range on display so that you can get a feel for each one if you visit. We try to have fabric samples for those and seeing products from the same 'family' will let you see the quality & finish to enable you to make a choice. If you want to see something in particular, you can email or call us before you visit and we will let you know if we have it in.
DO YOU DELIVER?
We regularly use and recommend KV Deliveries. They are an independent company and charge separately to Cottingley Furnishers. Most often, you would pay them upon delivery of your items and in cash. They will deliver with a friendly 2 man team, put the item or items in situ in your home, and will re-assemble if requested. Generally they do more local deliveries but will quote for any distance. Prices local to Cottingley Furnishers start at £35 and this includes areas such as: Cottingley, Bingley, Saltaire, Shipley, Keighley, Baildon, Gilstead & Eldwick. Slightly further out areas like Skipton, Ilkley & Guiseley would be £40-45. They work most days but not generally Sundays or bank holidays. Most often you will be given a 2 hour delivery window, or they will call when they are loading your furniture up. Unless otherwise agreed in store, delivery is not included in your invoice total from us and payment will be paid separately to the delivery team upon delivery & in cash.
Alternatively, you are totally welcome to arrange delivery with other companies or collect your furniture. We have plenty of people do a few trips in their cars to collect pieces.
DOES THE FURNITURE COME ASSEMBLED?
Most pieces come as you see them on the shop floor. Sometimes furniture will need to be disassembled slightly in order to get into your home, eg: dining table legs might need to be taken off, wardrobe tops taken off of their drawer bases etc. Beds will always be delivered or collected in the basic form of: headboard, footboard, side rails, slats, support rail & fittings.
CAN I HAVE AN ITEM MADE IN A DIFFERENT SIZE?
Most likely: no. Our suppliers generally will not take orders for bespoke pieces.
IF I PLACE AN ORDER, HOW LONG WILL MY FURNITURE TAKE TO ARRIVE?
If we are ordering furniture in for you it can take anywhere between 2-12 weeks. We will try to give you a better indication when you place your order. When furniture arrives with us, we give you a call and ask you to come in to view it. It is at this point where you can arrange delivery/collection. You are not obligated to come back in, we just like people to see their pieces before they leave the showroom to make sure everything is as expected.
