Please note, we only deliver accessories. Furniture can be purchased in store and delivery organised separately.
We offer FREE delivery on orders over £50.00
UK Standard Parcel £3.99 delivered by Hermes. Delivery time is 2-4 working days.
UK Click & Collect from Cottingley Furnishers free (within one working day. Orders placed over a weekend or bank holiday must be collected after 1pm on the following working day). Working day here refers to Monday-Friday only.
We do not ship to Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands, Europe or Internationally.
For furniture bought in store, we use and recommend KV Deliveries. They are an independent company and charge separately to Cottingley Furnishers. Most often, you would pay them upon delivery of your items and in cash. They will deliver with a friendly 2 man team, put the item or items in situ in your home, and will re-assemble if requested. Generally they do more local deliveries but will quote for any distance. Prices local to Cottingley Furnishers start at £35 and this includes areas such as: Cottingley, Bingley, Saltaire, Shipley, Keighley, Baildon, Gilstead & Eldwick. Slightly further out areas like Skipton, Ilkley & Guiseley would be £40-45. They work most days but not generally Sundays or bank holidays. Most often you will be given a 2 hour delivery window, or they will call when they are loading your furniture up. Unless otherwise agreed in store, delivery is not included in your invoice total from us and payment will be paid separately to the delivery team upon delivery & in cash.
Alternatively, you are totally welcome to arrange delivery with other companies or collect your furniture. We have plenty of people who collect by doing a few trips in their cars to collect pieces.
For more than one product per order, we may send separately depending on size. You will only be charged one postage fee.
Our standard delivery via MyHermes is expected to take 2-4 working days. We use a trackable delivery service from Hermes and, when available, you will be notified via email of the tracking code. All orders require a signature upon delivery.
Monday – Friday are classed as working days, with exception to Bank Holidays.
For excluded UK regions, we are happy to get a postage quote for you. Please send us a message.
CLICK AND COLLECT
Click and Collect orders will be ready for collection the day after ordered from our showroom in Cottingley, Bingley. This is a free service. Please ensure you have your order number ready to quote upon collection along with a form of ID, which can be a driving license, bank card, or utility bill.
Orders placed on a weekend or bank holiday, will only be ready to collect the following working day after 1pm.
It is not our responsibility to check that the item will fit in your vehicle.

These terms apply to online purchases only. If you are unhappy with your item, please let us know. Our Returns Policy gives you 14 days (from the day you receive or collect your item) to let us know you want to return or exchange an item bought online. You then have up to 14 days to return the item to us at our store address. If it is more than 14 days before you initiate the return process, it is at our discretion as to whether we offer a refund or exchange.
If a refund is requested, it should be processed & complete within 14 days of us receiving the goods back in store. We will refund using the original payment method.
To be eligible for a refund or exchange, goods must be returned in a resalable condition, with all labels still attached in the original packaging. That means the item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary. The extent to which you can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.
To complete your refund or exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send items back without contacting the team first on email@example.com Please send us your order number & details. Without this information, there may be a delay in processing the return.
If you are returning a full order by post/courier, then (where applicable) the original basic delivery cost will be refunded to you, as well as the cost of returned products. You are responsible for funding the return of goods to us in store. Please obtain proof of postage. If anything goes wrong, proof of postage must be used to acquire a refund. If you are only returning one or some item(s) from an order of multiple items, and are keeping others, then the original delivery cost will not be refunded. Where relevant & appropriate, you will receive a full refund for the returned goods only.
Please return parcels to: Cottingley Furnishers, Cottingley Bar, Bradford Road, Bingley, W. Yorkshire, BD16 1PA. Please get proof of postage and please re-package items as they were originally sent. Please do not remove product care labels.
Although we do our best to ensure products are wrapped sufficiently for our courier, unfortunately breakages can happen from time to time with third party companies.
Check your item(s) for breakages as soon as you receive your order and if the product arrives damaged, please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of delivery, including photographs of the damage items and your order number. We will be in touch as soon as possible to resolve the matter. If a replacement is available, we will try to arrange one as soon as we can.
Please do not return faulty items without contacting the team first. You are not responsible for the cost of returning faulty goods to us.
Once your returned item is received, your refund will be processed. If the order should fail to arrive in store with us, proof of postage will be required in order to process a refund. This must be legitimate & clear proof of postage.
Please note that the buyer is responsible for funding return postage. However, the original, basic cost of sending the order out to you, will be refunded if the full order is being returned at once. If you are only returning part of your order, the original delivery cost may not be refunded. At the moment, we only offer one method of shipping with the cost of £3.99. So this is the amount that would be included in the refund. However, if we were to offer a faster, or more expensive service that you opted to add to your order, the refunded about would still only be £3.99.
Once your refund has been processed, it should complete within 14 days of us receiving the goods back in store. We will refund using the original payment method. If we have trouble doing this for any reason, we may need to contact you for additional information that will allow us to refund you.
